As stand-alone resources or supplements to our READING SKILLS FOR LIFE program, these four worktexts offer in-depth study for struggling students. Each workbook draws on a core content area (Science, Social Studies, or Literature), providing cross-curricular reinforcement while teaching important reading skills. Students benefit from detailed chapter review tests and test-taking tips to help build test skills. Step-by-step exercises emphasize reading and writing habits such as outlining, summary, and much more. Each workbook contains a minimum of 128 pages consisting of 2-3 page lesson activities. Practice activities include a variety of question formats as preparation for standardized testing. The workbooks follow a progression of reading levels from 2.0 to 6.0 with approximately 20-25 pages per level.
